Sean: Are you all replacing the medium duty rescue or down grading using the special unit? Did Mildred do extrication and if so are the tools on an engine now?

All of our rescue tools have been on Engine 58 since we got it in 2004. We carry a Phoenix system with a 32" combi-tool, cutters, and ram, air bags up to 22 tons, Ajax air tools, Rescue 42 struts, 2 sawzalls, come-a-long, port-a-power and assorted cribbing. We do all of our own extrication, plus we do extrication for Station 50 on Rte 220 from the Cherry/Laporte Twp line to just past the new PSP Barracks at Rte 42. The Special Unit will just be for Technical Rescue calls and to supplement manpower.
