Bob, Which Flynn are you referring to? As much as the truckie talks about himself, notice he will only be driving!! Yes, my older (but much smaller than me) brother would have to watch, as the "lil Flynn" shows him how it is done. When you drive, you can't cut!!! Isn't it odd, that when I covered up driving 12 truck 1, we never had a call. However when the idiot Flynn drives, they seemed to get a call. Mr. Firemarshal, could you please look into this!!!!!!!!!!! I thought most people's insurance is quite steady, as far as the monthly payment. When I pay mine, they pull the schedule of the truck driver for Sayre, and when they see that my brother is working, it costs me double for that month. What the hell? ??

Boy have I learned a lot tonight. First of all people bust a Sean. I can't believe it.
Second, Dept 1 will probably have to man the firehouses Thursday night.

So it does pay to still be employed by GVEMS. I'll be riding shotgun in the Valley Bus Thursday night (can't remember where things are). Copper Flynn you better look out cuz we'll be flying low to beat everyone there...wouldn't want to miss anything. LT Flynn Sir humble God of ours, may your night be calm and we'll blow the horn when we go by hehehe. PS Does Lt. Lenny still bring coffee around? ?

OK, I have to jump in now. And BTW Mr. Russell, it's Captain Lenny, not LT. Anyway, I just want to make sure everyone knows that SEAN Flynn's remarks no way interpret any feelings nor is he speaking on behalf of the Sayre Fire Dept. He may be speaking for the Sayre Police Dept., but I'm not always sure which face he's wearing, even when speaking directly to him, he switches back and forth so fast it makes your head spin. As for the other Flynn covering tonight, I guess they couldn't get anyone else. And, if we do get a call like usual when he's covering, we will certainly start looking into that.

Robbie,
You are correct, for once. I failed to mention, so I will now.......... anything that I have posted has been solely my opinions, and in no way the opinions of either the Sayre Police Department, nor the Sayre Fire Department.

Sean, No matter what they say, you say or anyone else says. You are still a loser............................. This in no way is a reflection of my department or whatever that other crap was you said. Ok---now that that is said. Anything I put on here is all in what I think is the best interest of the people that we are supposed to protect with primary concern for our own FIRE, EMS, and yes even POLICE personnel. THat is what this board is all about, ways to make it safer and a better organization to belong to. I have the upmost respect for police (even Flynn) and EMS personnel even though they are the ones that I ALWAYS rag on. Continue the dialogue!!!!

Check this out. Yep, thats what I have been talkign about. wetmtv.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=C0866828-D300-4108-98A4-A9462C43B372Meth Lab Starts Fire Last Update: 2/18/2004 4:07:25 PM Posted By: Ewa Roman Town of Baldwin When fire fighters arrived at 198 Elston Hollow Road in the Town of Baldwin, Chemung County Sheriff's Deputies told them not to go inside. Sources told authorities the house was home to a methamphetamine lab and they didn't want fire fighters to accidentally destroy the evidence or get hurt. "I think one of the scariest things about the manufacture of it is how lethal it can be just by inhaling the fumes,” said Capt. Steven Milford, Chemung County Sheriff’s Dept. No one was home when authorities arrived at the scene. But one Chemung County Sheriff's Deputy had to go to the hospital after inhaling ammonia coming from the house. He 's doing okay now and is out of the hospital. Investigators are not saying who was involved in the fire or who lived at the home. But, a next-door neighbor said a husband and wife lived there with several kids. "I heard they've done drugs and they're not highly respected around here. We're always seeing them getting arrested over there,” said Amber Teeter, Town of Baldwin. While fire fighters battled the blaze, deputies arrested 39-year-old Margaret Vanderpool of Towanda, who was standing outside the burning home. Deputies smelled ammonia on her clothes and later found Vanderpool had a small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana on her. Ammonia is a key ingredient used in making meth. Authorities don't think Vanderpool is connected to the fire. But the Town of Baldwin’s fire chief said the woman was staying at the home. Authorities also said Vanderpool is related to 39-year-old Gregory Vanderpool who, police said, died earlier this month at his Towanda Township apartment home while making meth. The Bradford County Corner said he inhaled a lethal amount of ammonia. Vanderpool was charged with possession of marijuana, meth and resisting arrest. She was given an appearance ticket and will be in Baldwin Court later this month. Investigators won't confirm whether the person or people who lived in the Baldwin home had a history of getting arrested.

Wow kim nice find you mean they had the courtesy to tell them that there might be a problem in there. Here I thought as long as we approached the scene carefully and used caution nobody needed to tell us anything. Hmm this should definately be passed on. Thank you

Maybe we all should put the PD in all of our box alarms as a first due response, and make them go in and make sure the scene is safe for us VOLUNTEERS, heck, they are getting paid. Maybe after a couple of close calls, they would start to communicate a little better with us , huh? Better yet, if the PD won't come , we could take it as a sign to be very suspicious, and just protect exposures instead of trying to save the place.

Does anyone know what Kims score is now??? Kim has a valid point along with several other people. Nothing against law enforcement but if there are some troubled spots I really hope they notify the right personnel. I know I dont want to go to a fellow brother or sisters funeral because we werent notified of a possible meth lab or any other illegal activities at a residence. Matt Russell keep the Yellow hat buddy. Ill still go inside with you any day. Come join Canton and maybe Canton 1 will let you drive the new SUPER TANKER when it comes or maybe Truck1.
