Larry that is where proper Training would come in handy not saying it would help every one. They were designed as a safety feature. I still rely on the mirrors too but also use the camera. It helps, be safe

I have noticed that rear mounted camera systems can lead to vehicle operators who don’t use the mirrors. Exactly why they shouldn't be driving until they learn how! Just like John siad - its another tool in the box. Not a crutch to lean on everytime!!

I ALSO THINK THEY ARE A VERY GOOD IDEA BUT LIKE ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING MAKE SURE YOU LOOK IN THOSE MIRRORS CAMERA ARE MADE FOR WHATS BEHIND YOU NOT WHATS ALL AROUND YOU. MY DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING AT SOME FOR OUR 2 TANKERS.
