Webbs Mills Welcomes it's Newest Addition to Wildland Strike Team. The newest addition to the Webbs Mills Wildland Strike Team was placed into service on March 15th 2010. The Kawasaki Mule was Donated by Army Reserve Sergeant Chris Connelly, who is also a Webbs Mills firefighter. Sgt. Connelly is being deployed active duty to Afghanistan and before his departure donated the Mule to the Strike Team to be utilized for Wildland Fire/Rescue. the Mule (1874) has been equipped with Brooms, Rakes, Shovels, Chain Saws and 30 gallons of Water. This will serve as another valuable tool to help combat Wildland Fires along with our 6x6 Interface Type 3 Engine, and our other Type 7 brush support units. The Mule (1874) is available for Mutual Aid to any department requesting assistance. We would like to "THANK" Sergeant Connelly with this donation and wish him safety during his deployment in Afghanistan.
