On 4/6/05 at 02:03 hrs Ulster/Sheshequin Fire, Ulster EMS, Memorial ALS and PSP were disptched to a 1 car MVC - reported rollover with unknown injury or entrapment. Enroute a second call from the scene reported 1 patient unresponsive with entrapment, Ulster Fire then requested N. Towanda for a second rescue prior to arrival on scene for assistance with extrication.
EMS and Fire units first on scene rapidly extricated a patient with airway compromise within minutes of arriving on scene from the badly damaged vehicle and despite everyones best efforts, the patient was pronounced at Towanda Memorial a short time later.
A good job by all involved.
