The Bradford County Emergency Agency in conjunction with the Bradford Susquehanna EMS Council will be hosting a Department of Homeland Security grant-funded Disaster Preparedness Program entitled “EMS Operations & Planning for Weapons of Mass Destruction” from 23 October 2007 through 25 October 2007, at the Western EMS Station #16 on Canton Street in Troy. The course is designed to increase preparedness and response capability for the local community in the event of a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or Explosive (CBRNE) event. In addition, members of the emergency response communities of Bradford County and the surrounding jurisdictional EMS, Fire, Emergency Management and healthcare staff have been invited to participate.
