I think we need to give the dispatchers a hand for a job well done during last weeks flooding. They sat thru and dispached and made notification through out the entire few days.. Then of course they heard over and over I NEED MY BASEMENT pumped.. Good job to all the departments on working together and trying to keep everyones heads above water.. Hopefully all this rain is not a sign of what the winter will bring..

WELL FIRST OF ALL, A THANK YOU TO A 911 DISPATCHER IS A MIRACULOUS THING. WE DON'T GET THEM VERY OFTEN. AND SECOND, YES IT'S OUR JOB BUT REMEMBER EVERYTHING ELSE COULD BE GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME AND TAXING THE 911 SYSTEM.
AND OF COURSE # 6 WAS AWAY TRYING TO GET EDUCATED. KEY WORD TRYING.
AT SOME POINT WHEN THINGS CALM DOWN HERE I WILL TRY TO GET SOME STATS POSTED AS TO HOW MANY CALLS WE ACTUALLY TOOK DURING THE WEEKEND.

Please don't break your arms while patting yourselves on the back, we wouldn't want you to get over-confident or anything.
