My opinion,
call the truck responding while your walking to it, because
one: you are responding to mobilse the unit.
two: you can get further dispatch infor mation and have time to think about where you going, or do you call responding from the truck, and then take the time to think about where your going, thus delaying patient care?
who cares as long as the rig gets out the door.

I have never had a rig not start when I called responding. I have had them die on sceen. I have used my portable to call responding while I wated for the glow plugs to heat up.

blue I gess if it takes you 27 minuts to respond I would rethink the whole emergency thing, If dushore has a problem like that they might want to call a paid dept. to come sit at there station. At least they would respond in a timely manner

Great Thread ladies and Gentlemen, and I use these terms loosely. ;D I think that we will just all have to settle for agreeing to disagree on this one, besides its not the first or dare I say the last time it will arise.
