I'm just going to throw one out there for all to kick and punch around a little!! ;D
Would it not be soooooooo easy if we had ID badges issued by the Regional Council with a barcode that could be scanned at Con- Ed events, just like they do at Concepts every year? It seems to me that this would be the cats a$$ instead of filling out the cards every time, and easier to process too!! What do you think?
I bet the initial cost may be outweighed by the ease of processing in the end!!

Sounds a lot easier and more user-friendly than filling in the dots! When you get your card, certificate, and patch in the mail, there's also a new ID card in there too. Tie this into a regional ID/accountability card. No ID, no con ed for you. Charge a fee for replacement if lost.
Also, the resources are already there, the Council being a Guthrie entity. Just look at all the ID badges Guthrie produces a year, like our after-hours EMS access cards.

From what the nice People from the BSEMS office said yesterday at the Meth Lab tranning thing for EMS. They said that they had all the stuff in the office down there but have not had the time to put it all in place. They said that they are working on it and hope to have it up and running soon. We all can hope so. You all know how they can be in that office!!!!!

We have had a system setting in our office for almost 8 months. We have been waiting for a data base to be created. We were forced to wait becasue we had partnered up with three other regional councils. It looks like we are finally getting close and should have this system up and runing by the end of the year. Thank you.
